HEALTH STATUS OF IDA VALE LIVESTOCK

Brucellosis (Brucella ovis) Ida Vale is currently an accredited flock (WAOVAC278), blood testing rams bi-annually to maintain this accreditation.  The Department of Agricutlure and Food manage this voluntary scheme. Footrot Ida Vale is footrot free.

Worms Ida Vale is breeding for worm resistance.  We have sampled all the lambs individually since the 2007 drop.  This is a trait we feel is going to be of significant value to our clients.
